Coastal Goat (Rental & Sale)

Rental period and area

  • Period: April 1 - October 1

  • Area: Small livestock region 1 (Aure and Heim)

  • Quantity: Minimum 4 adult animals

  • Duration: Minimum 2 weeks

  • App: Read access in No-Fence

Requirements: Reading shed, fresh water and at least 1 acre per goat per month.

Price and terms

  • Price: NOK 50 + VAT per day

  • Long-term rental: Separate agreement

  • Transport: Shipping in a horse trailer is additional.

  • Establishment: We set up a virtual fence together

Sale of coastal goats 2026

  • Yearling female: NOK 4000+ VAT

  • Neutered: NOK 4500 + VAT

  • Adult goat: NOK 5000 + VAT

  • Buck: NOK 5000 + VAT

Status 2026: No animals available. Contact Trøndelag Kystgeitlag for waiting list 2027.

Animals are registered with the Ammegeitkontrollen, studbooked and breed approved. Sold with a veterinary certificate. Livestock farming must be registered with the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
